1. 304 Stainless Steel
Applications:
Neutral, low-salt, low-corrosion wastewater
Washing water, cooling water, ordinary grinding wastewater
No chlorine, no strong acids or alkalis
Advantages: Low cost, strong versatility
2. 316L Stainless Steel (most commonly used in the industry, highest cost-performance ratio)
Applications:
Electroplating wastewater, anodizing, phosphating wastewater
Saline, weakly acidic, containing a small amount of chloride ions
Cutting fluid, emulsion, machining wastewater
Chemical neutral / weakly alkaline high-salt wastewater
Advantages: Salt-resistant, resistant to weak acids and alkalis, strong corrosion resistance, long service life
90% of industrial wastewater uses 316L.
3. Duplex Steel 2205 / 2507
Applications:
High-chlorine, high-salt, highly corrosive chemical wastewater
Seawater, concentrated water from circulating water
Working conditions prone to pitting and stress corrosion
Advantages: Extremely strong resistance to chloride ion corrosion
4. Titanium Materials TA2 / TC4
Applications:
Strong acids (hydrochloric acid, fluorine-containing media)
High-chlorine, strong corrosion, working conditions that 316L cannot withstand
Pharmaceuticals, fine chemicals, special electroplating
Advantages: Super strong corrosion resistance, no scaling, extremely long service life
5. Lined Teflon / PP / FRP
Applications:
Highly corrosive, strong acid, high-concentration chemical wastewater
Extremely low budget, small equipment
Disadvantages: Poor thermal conductivity, low heat exchange efficiency, not resistant to high temperatures
