1. Changes in core operational data (most intuitive)
Under the same operating conditions, the evaporation rate significantly decreases
The amount of waste liquid feed, vacuum degree, and temperature have not changed, but the amount of condensed water evaporated per hour has decreased, and the scaling and thermal conductivity of the heat exchange surface have deteriorated, which is the most typical signal.
Unstable vacuum degree, unable to reach the set value
The heat exchanger and demister are blocked by dirt, and the negative pressure of the system cannot be increased, resulting in large fluctuations.
The internal temperature of the equipment is abnormally high
Under the same vacuum conditions, the evaporation temperature is significantly higher than usual, leading to insulation from dirt and a decrease in heat transfer efficiency.
2. Process and effluent phenomenon
The quality of condensate water has deteriorated
The COD and suspended solids in the condensed water increase, and the entrainment of the escaping materials becomes more. The foam is easy to enter the condenser, and the dirt accumulation causes the gas-liquid separation failure.
The concentrated solution cannot be discharged smoothly
The discharge of the concentration pipeline and pump body slows down, and the inner wall of the pipeline begins to salt out and crystallize.
3. Equipment appearance and inspection observation
Observing the mirror, white salt deposits and oil sludge attachments can be seen on the inner wall of the cavity and the surface of the heat exchanger.
Equipment pressure difference increases: For models with pressure difference monitoring, the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the heat exchanger continues to rise, indicating that the flow channel is blocked by dirt.
4. Predict based on the operating cycle (experience reference)
Cutting fluid and oily waste liquid: heavy oil stains, it is recommended to evaluate whether to clean them once every 3-7 days
Electroplating rinse wastewater (low to medium salt content): 2-4 week evaluation
Attention: The cycle is for reference only, and priority should be given to the operational data. Do not rigidly wash according to time.
When should we not do chemical cleaning
Only the filter element and filter are clogged: priority should be given to replacing the filter element, without the need for chemical cleaning of the entire machine;
A large number of large crystalline blocks block the pipeline: first physically flush and clear, then chemically cycle clean.
