Will the low-temperature environment in winter affect the evaporation effect of the low-temperature evaporator

The low temperature in winter environment may have some impact, but it does not mean directly discarding the equipment. It depends on the equipment structure and insulation configuration

Influence point

The decrease in heat transfer efficiency and the improvement of condenser heat dissipation conditions due to low external temperatures are favorable; But the temperature of the feed solution is very low, and the cold wastewater entering the tank requires more heat to raise the feed solution to the evaporation temperature, which will slightly increase energy consumption and result in a slight decrease in evaporation under the same operating conditions.

The condenser side has advantages such as faster heat dissipation and easier maintenance of vacuum in low-temperature environments, which is actually beneficial for evaporation.

Risk focus: The anti freezing environment temperature of pipelines and material boxes is close to 0 ℃. Pipelines and storage tanks without insulation are prone to cooling or even freezing of wastewater, which can cause pump jamming and pipeline blockage. This is the most common fault in winter, not the failure of the evaporator body.

Equipment response plan

Insulate the tank body, feeding pipeline, and circulation pipeline, and optional heat tracing device to ensure the temperature of the incoming liquid material;

The built-in heating system of the device has a margin of power to offset the heat loss caused by cold materials in winter;

Outdoor placement should be done in simple factory buildings/sheds to avoid equipment facing cold winds directly; Be sure to drain the pipeline wastewater during shutdown to prevent freezing and cracking.
