Multi effect thermal energy cascade utilization


The equipment consists of 2-6 series connected evaporation units. The secondary steam generated by the previous effect serves as the heating source for the subsequent effect, without the need for additional large amounts of steam, greatly improving the thermal energy utilization efficiency.


Horizontal tube falling film liquid distribution design


The heating tube is arranged horizontally, and the material is evenly sprayed onto the outer wall of the heat exchange tube through a distributor, forming a thin liquid film. The liquid film has a large contact area with the pipe wall and a fast flow rate, which not only improves heat transfer efficiency but also reduces material scaling.


2、 Specific workflow

Feed and film distribution


After preheating, the material to be processed is sent to the distributor of the first effect evaporation unit and evenly distributed to the outer wall of each horizontal heating tube, forming a liquid film with uniform thickness and flowing downward along the tube wall.


First effect heating evaporation


External heat sources (such as steam) are introduced into the heating tube, and heat exchange occurs between the tube wall and the liquid film outside the tube. The liquid film boils and vaporizes upon heating, producing secondary steam; The material is concentrated and flows to the liquid collection tank at the bottom of the first effect.


Multi effect cascade heat transfer


The secondary steam generated by the first effect directly enters the heating tube of the second effect evaporation unit and serves as a heat source to heat the liquid film of the material in the second effect, producing secondary steam again; And so on until the end.


After each effect, the material concentration increases, and the temperature and pressure of the secondary steam gradually decrease, achieving the maximum utilization of thermal energy.


Condensation and discharge


The secondary steam generated by the final effect enters the condenser and is cooled by water to condense into liquid water (which can be recycled and reused); The high concentration material after multi effect concentration is discharged from the bottom of the final effect and enters the subsequent processing steps (such as drying and purification).


Vacuum and self-control regulation


The vacuum pump maintains negative pressure throughout the entire system to ensure stable boiling points of all effects; The PLC control system monitors the temperature, pressure, and liquid level of each effect in real time, automatically adjusts the feeding speed and heat source supply to ensure continuous and stable evaporation process.
