How to select suitable low-temperature evaporation equipment based on water quality and water quantity?

I. First, check the water volume → determine the type and size of the equipment


1. Select the model according to the daily treatment capacity (the most critical)


① Daily water volume ≤ 5 tons/day


Recommendation: Small integrated heat pump low-temperature evaporation equipment


Features: Small footprint, integrated machine, fully automatic, ready to use after power connection


Applicable to: Laboratories, small electroplating, small hardware, workshop wastewater


② 5-20 tons/day


Recommendation: Standard modular heat pump low-temperature evaporator


Features: High efficiency, moderate energy consumption, highest cost performance


Applicable to: Electroplating, anodizing, photovoltaic cleaning, cutting fluid wastewater


③ >20 tons/day


Recommendation: MVR low-temperature evaporator / multi-effect evaporator


Features: Super energy-saving, extremely low energy consumption per ton of water


Applicable to: Chemical industry, circulating water concentrate, high-salt wastewater, centralized treatment stations


II. Then check the water quality → determine the structure, material, and heating method


1. Check the salt content (TDS)


TDS ≤ 30000 mg/L


→ Ordinary falling film / spray-type heat pump evaporation


TDS > 30000 mg/L (high salt)


→ Forced circulation evaporation (anti-crystallization, anti-clogging)


2. Check oil content & emulsion


Oil content ≤ 5 mg/L


→ Conventional heat pump evaporation


High oil content, emulsion, cutting fluid


→ Demulsification pretreatment + scraper /
